Over the year, the COVID — 19 pandemic has brought shock and uncertainty to most countries in the world. Lockdown touched the health and economic spheres, turned the usual way of life of society upside down. The event industry was included in the number of industries affected by the coronavirus almost immediately after the introduction of restrictive measures.
In the conditions of the new reality for our company, the choice was unambiguous — the prompt implementation of a new model for organizing events. Already in April 2020, the CONFORM group of companies, together with Ukrainian public organizations in cardiology, arrhythmology and rheumatology, developed online platforms for continuous training of medical specialists.
To date, about 20 thousand professionals from the fields of cardiology, arithomology, rheumatology, nephrology, therapy, family medicine and ambulance have joined the online platforms CARDIO HUB and RHEUMA HUB.
Our company has already implemented 103 online conferences and is preparing 44 new events.
Despite the gradual lifting of quarantine restrictions, we understand that the time for holding mass events with a large number of participants has not yet come. Therefore, we are actively working on the launch of «hybrid» events that include live and virtual elements. As organizers, we are no longer limited by the size of the event venue, we can expand our audience to include virtual participants, as well as those who prefer to attend in person.
We are confident that online and offline collaboration will make the event industry more progressive in the future.
